Cherry 'quartz' glass heart shaped beads, 13-15mm.

Cherry 'quartz' has also been referred to as watermelon and strawberry 'quartz'. These specially processed glass components are a transparent to translucent pink color and have similar optical properties to quartz and a physical feel much like quartz. The lovely cherry hue blends throughout with full color in some areas -- gentle striations, needles and mottled areas in others -- and near-clear 'quartz' peeking through elsewhere.

These are hand-cut by the factories that produce our semi-precious beads, and are especially nice when combined with sterling beads or findings.
